If your admission average is 95% or higher as of July 11, 2025, we will award you with the President's Gold Scholarship, which is a renewable entrance scholarship worth $4,000-$6,000 for your first year at Laurier. Your admission average is calculated using your top six 4U/M courses, including required courses for some programs. See your program of interest on OUInfo to determine whether or not we include your required courses in your admission average. If you maintain the eligibility requirements, you will receive an additional $4,000-$6,000 per year for years 2 through 4 (up to year 5 for some programs).

Students who receive the President's Gold Scholarship are not eligible to receive in-course scholarships.

We will automatically assess you for an entrance scholarship, which includes the President's Gold Scholarship, when you apply to Laurier.

• $4,000 in your first year
• $12,000 - $16,000 in your upper years ($4,000 per year in years 2 through 4, or 5 for approved 5-year undergraduate programs).

• $6,000 in your first year
• $18,000 - $24,000 in your upper years ($6,000 per year in years 2 through 4, or 5 for approved 5-year undergraduate programs).

• You achieved a minimum GPA of 10.5 across all courses taken
• You completed a minimum of 5.0 credits at Laurier
  • If you took more than 5.0 credits, the GPA from all courses completed that year will be used to determine eligibility
• To be eligible for renewal, recipients of the President's Gold Scholarship must complete at least 2.0 credits in at least 2 of the 3 terms.
• If the renewal requirements are not met in each academic year, the President's Gold Scholarship will not be renewed and cannot be renewed in a subsequent academic year. However, students would then be automatically assessed for an in-course scholarship.
