Description:

In the Web Development diploma program, you will gain a solid understanding of application development practices applicable to computer and web environments. Students will learn the language-independent programming concepts and techniques such as program flow, programming constructs of sequence, iteration, selection and decision-making in both a traditional programming and object-oriented methodologies. The program then explores a number of current programming and web development languages and technologies including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, Python, JQuery, PHP/MySQL, MongoDB, Node.js, Angular, Dreamweaver. and HTML5 allowing students to master the language specific syntax and coding requirements to translate logical program design into fully functional web applications. The program concludes with a 6-week, 180-hour practicum placement.

    The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
