This course combines history of art with the study of Italian. Italian language and culture have had a lasting impact on Europe. Today, Italy's innovative contributions to design, technology and fashion mean that it is a major global commercial force.
You will study a combination of language, art history and culture units, spending your third year abroad on a study or work placement in an Italian-speaking environment to refine your language skills and cultural knowledge. Bristol has an enviable record for its research both in history of art and in Italian culture.
