That's why eloquence in public discourse—and more generally, communication—has always been an essential part of the classical liberal arts education. Our program emphasizes Western civilization's greatest thinkers and orators to help you master the art of rhetoric from its ancient roots to its current place in modern communication. With minors in Rhetoric, Organizational Communication, and Mass Communication, Hillsdale ensures you'll graduate as a more compelling speaker, masterful thinker, and responsible critic. Hone those skills in our nationally recognized forensics programs in debate, individual events, mock trial, and our annual, all-campus oratory competition. Rhetoric and Public Address is offered as both a major and minor. |

We require official grades from all institutions in which you have enrolled or are currently enrolled. This includes both high school and college. If a transcript includes grades from past institutions, those institutions do not need to send a separate transcript. |
