Description:

Naval architects and marine engineers deal with the world’s largest moving structures and most powerful vehicles – from huge ships to sailing yachts, from fast ferries to offshore wind turbines and oil platforms. Marine engineering is the engineering speciality of design, construction, installation and operation of machinery and propulsion systems for ships and marine structures.

This degree aims to develop engineers capable of dealing with engineering challenges on a wide range of marine vehicles, with additional skills and understanding in the impact and importance of marine engineering on their successful design, construction, repair, and maintenance.
