George Brown's Early Childhood Education (Accelerated) program will prepare you for a rewarding career in a rapidly evolving sector. This condensed, 16-month version of our two-year diploma program will teach you to work with children from six weeks to 12 years of age in a variety of early childhood education settings. |

Applicants must have - An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent* with completion of Grade 12 English (C or U) PLUS any additional (3) Grade 12 C, U, M or Grade 11 C, U or M credits

| Test Scores: | - Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]

| Additional Admission Requirements: | All students in this program must have completed the following prior to beginning field placement: - Standard first aid with CPR level C course
- Police vulnerable sector check
- Medical clearance
* Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older and no OSSD) Mature students may take the Admissions Assessment for English OR may consider upgrading to achieve the credit(s) needed in English. |
