Our Foundation Year programme will prepare you with everything you need to study Physics at undergraduate level here at UEA. You’ll be equipped with all the necessary knowledge and skills needed for a successful degree, and you’ll make a smooth transition into university study and research. Once you’ve completed the Foundation Year, you’ll progress onto your Physics degree, where you’ll explore a vast range of subjects, including geophysics, astrophysics, fluid mechanics, chemical physics and quantum physics, making use of our top-class facilities and high-tech equipment. You’ll find the answers to many of the questions we face, and prepare yourself for a wealth of exciting careers.

    Please refer to each course page for specific A Level and IB requirements.

    Students studying for Canadian High School or Secondary School Diplomas, usually completing study in the twelfth grade, will be considered for entry to our undergraduate degree programmes. Most courses will require an overall score of between 70% and 80%.

    For some disciplines, a slightly lower average percentage may be considered. Holders of the Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales (from Quebec) will also be considered.
