Studying both music and east Asian studies will give you a firm grasp on both subjects. Music modules cover the history and psychology of music, ethnomusicology, jazz and popular music, music education, music technology and the music business. If you choose to study performance, you will get expert tuition on your principal instrument. The music side of the degree is assessed by projects, performances and coursework, so there are plenty of opportunities to be creative.
