Description:

Studying both music and Korean studies will give you a firm grasp on both subjects. Music modules cover the history and psychology of music, ethnomusicology, jazz and popular music, music education, music technology and the music business. If you choose to study performance, you will get expert tuition on your principal instrument. The music side of the degree is assessed by projects, performances and coursework, so there are plenty of opportunities to be creative.

We teach Korean intensively, from scratch, starting in the first year. You will take modules on the history, culture and society of Korea. You'll spend your second year studying at a university in Korea. In the third and fourth years, the language training gets more advanced and you will study more specialist areas of Korean history, culture and business.
