Description:

As low carbon electricity becomes increasingly important, there's a growing demand for skilled nuclear engineers. This degree has been designed in consultation with the nuclear industry to meet this need.

You'll gain a broad understanding of mechanical engineering by following the MEng Mechanical Engineering in the first two years. In years three and five, you'll have the opportunity to specialise in nuclear engineering through taught modules and an individual and group design project on nuclear technology.

Applicants are required to have an average of 80% in six grade 12 U, U/C or M courses, including Maths and at least one of Physics or Chemistry.

Application Notes : International students need overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or an equivalent English language qualification.
