Building on core business foundations, the MBA program provides learners with the knowledge and skills that clients demand to take their business to the next level. Courses focus on ethical leadership, advanced financial and marketing concepts, managing information systems, business strategy and explores the complexities of managing within a global context. A capstone consulting project provides a direct link to industry and application of knowledge gained throughout the program. Recent graduates will be required to complete a work integrated learning program that will give them the experience needed to move their career forward.

Admission Requirements

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 230] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 570] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 88] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]
Application Notes : For admission to a degree program, a student must meet one of the language requirements listed below in addition to the academic requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (minimum score: 230 computer-based, 570 paper-based, 88 Internet-based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic)(minimum score: 6.5); Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) (minimum score: 80); Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment Test (minimum score: 70, with 60 in writing proficiency); Cambridge English Proficiency (minimum result: C); Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE) (minimum score: 60); Three years of full time senior-level studies in an English-language secondary school or post-secondary institution (official documents required) (evaluated on an individual basis; at the Admissions Committee's discretion); or Laurentian EAP Level 3 exam with a score of 70% or higher.

Applicants are required to have a 4-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent and a score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Graduates of undergraduate business programs will be assessed towards the fast-track MBA with advanced standing provided for the Business Foundations portion of the program. Applicants with less than 2 years of intermediate level experience will be required to complete an additional 3-credit experiential learning course. Applicants will be assessed for advanced standing towards courses in the Business Foundations level (provided that they received a minimum of 70% in equivalent courses as assessed by the MBA Admissions Committee) for a maximum of 24 credits towards the degree.
