Description:

The Master of Public Administration Program has been forming leaders in the public and nonprofit sectors since 1969. The program is the management and leadership degree for those seeking to serve the public good. When pursued as an online curriculum, the MPA offers the same practice-oriented, research-based graduate education available to students at our Boston campus. Aimed at professionals seeking management and leadership careers in the public or nonprofit sectors, the online curriculum offers maximum flexibility in scheduling as well as engaged interactions with faculty and fellow students. Building off of Northeastern’s substantial experience in delivering high-quality education online, this program helps students exchange views, consult with faculty, and work collaboratively, giving them greater freedom to shape their own learning experience. MPA students can add a Graduate Certificate to their degree to demonstrate specialized training in the Nonprofit Sector or Urban Analytics. Courses taken to complete a certificate also count as MPA elective credits.
