A General Optical Council (GOC) approved programme that is informed by high quality research, provides valuable clinical experience and develops your knowledge, skills and understanding.

This course provides a diverse but structured curriculum, using a variety of teaching and learning methods including lectures, laboratory- based practical?s and an extensive range of clinical work, much of which is undertaken in the University Optometry Clinic. The Clinic contains a range of ophthalmic equipment for both teaching and research and is a public access primary care clinic. Clinical experience is also provided in NHS hospitals.
