Description:

Computer Science involves the study of fundamental software development, information processing and storage, computer architecture and networks. The education technique is based on an incremental learning process throughout the degree program via assignments, labs and team projects. Software development is the primary field of research. Specific research areas include Web search and retrieval systems, data mining, information retrieval and databases, parallel and distributed computing, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, expert systems and scientific visualization. The research and teaching environments benefit from state-of-the art technologies. Students can achieve an undergraduate degree and obtain work experience as a member of the cooperative work/study program.
