Our interdisciplinary master's program (Waterloo and Milton) provides professional learning across many employment sectors in areas such as collaborative learning and instruction, innovative education through emerging technologies, and high-impact practices for teaching, learning and leadership. The MEd is attractive to educational leaders and professionals in a wide range of corporate and not-for-profit industries, health and community service organizations, and postsecondary institutions, as well as public and private school systems.

  • A minimum "B" standing in your final two years of study.
  • Two years professional experience or a completed Bachelor of Education degree with a minimum B standing.
  • Applicants with three-year degrees will be considered on a case-by-case basis via alternate admission procedures.
  • Applications are reviewed by the graduate program committee, which considers all prior university grades, a statement of research interests, a writing sample, and letters of reference.
  • Successful experience as an educator in a professional setting may be considered in the selection process.
