Description:This degree explores the world of Early Years. You will focus on the key theoretical perspectives and gain experience in a diverse selection of work-based settings, enabling you to become a highly effective Early Years practitioner. The aim is to equip you with the personal and transferable skills and professional attributes that will make you stand out to prospective employers. Discovering the holistic nature and complexities of children’s learning and development from birth to 7 years, you will engage with research at the forefront of current Early Years policy and practice and trace the advancement of the most important developments that have shaped the contemporary Early Years landscape. This innovative programme also enables you to contribute your own ideas to the content of specific modules, working as partners in co-production and co-delivery of your chosen theme or topic alongside the teaching team.
