|Description:||The Mental Wellness and Addictions Worker Ontario College Diploma program will prepare graduates to work in a variety of positions and organizations assisting clients affected by addictive behaviours and mental health issues.
Workers with training in mental health and addictions are in high demand, both locally and across the province. This program will prepare you for employment in this valuable field. You will train to work in mental health and addiction - specific settings including a broad spectrum of social and health agencies. Learn in class and in the field. The College has strong partnerships with local and regional institutions. Students in the program can expect to: a) understand the varying needs of diverse populations from all walks of life, b) expand their own skill set, c) encounter new ideas, d) be challenged about their beliefs, and e) be stimulated to approach problems and opportunities differently and deliberately.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including the following prerequisites:
