Dedicated health care professionals are permanently in demand. CDI College’s Personal Support Worker program will help you gain the core skills to provide support for clients in private homes, residential care facilities or adult day care centres. You‘ll learn to promote the emotional, physical and mental well-being of your clients, as well as collaborate with other members of the extended health care team. You’ll also have several opportunities to put theory and skill into practice through multiple practicum placements. The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
