Description:This programme provides high quality training for psychology graduates and assistant/associate psychologists (or equivalent) in both the theoretical models of common mental health presentations and practical therapy skills that can be applied to multiple populations (eg. mental health, children, intellectual disability).

The Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) provides students with skills in psychological assessment, formulation, and low intensity interventions (e.g., CBT). The Masters in Science (MSc) develops skills in conducting health service research.

International students (for whom English is not their first language), must be able to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their studies. Non-EEA nationals must also satisfy UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) immigration requirements for English language for visa purposes. Evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required (*taken within the last 2 years).
