Description:

Sheridan's Electrical Engineering Technician program offers students the opportunity to gain proficiency in advanced electrical and communication principles. After completion of this program students will have gained extensive hands-on experience and a broad skill set applicable to a wide range of industry contexts.

Some of the tasks students will practice include: interpreting and produce electrical and electronics drawings, analyzing and solve routine technical problems related to electrical systems by applying mathematics and science principles, using, verifying and maintaining instrumentation equipment and systems, and assembling, testing, modifying and maintaining electrical circuits and equipment.

Prerequisites:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, with these required courses:

One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U)
