Description:The Computer Systems Technology diploma program encompasses instruction across multiple platforms and environments, from cutting-edge computer systems technology such as .NET, iPhone and Android to industry standards such as Java and Oracle, to design increasingly complex business solutions.

Some other program highlights are: advanced concepts such as mobile application development, security, encryption and gaming, a capstone project in Year 3 that consists of software development and/or network engineering work either for a real-world business client or for the students themselves (start-up idea), and a research preparation course.

Applicants must have completed their Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent. Applicants must also have one Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U), and any Grade 12 Math (C or U) or Grade 11 Functions (MCF3M) or Grade 11 Functions and Relations (MCR3U) (Applicants presenting with Math MAP4C require a minimum 70%). Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of previous academic achievement (the average of their six highest senior-level credits, including required courses).
