|Description:||The Computer Engineering Technology diploma will help students develop high-level programming and computer engineering skills that translate directly to the workplace and are in high demand among employers. This program also places more emphasis on fundamental math and engineering principles with second- and third-year courses focusing on advanced computer engineering concepts, ranging from software development to embedded systems design.
Some of the skills students will learn are to: design, implement, and maintain the architecture for computer systems and networks, create process control, data acquisition and data management solutions, integrate networking technologies with information systems, and design and manage information servers. Students in this program may apply to the Co-op program during their third academic semester.
