Description:

This program prepares students for pursuing a traditional career path as a law clerk, functioning under the direct supervision of a lawyer. Law clerks are employed in a variety of settings, including law firms, corporations, non-profit organizations and real estate Title Insurance companies. Law clerks are able to work in substantive areas of law including criminal law, family law, civil litigation, real estate and wills and estates, environmental law, corporate work and health care. Software used in this program includes: PCLaw, Automated Civil Litigation (ACL3), Teraview and Conveyancer, Fast Company, Divorcemate, Estate-a-base and Express Scribe.

    High School Graduation Diploma or Mature Student Status (18 years of age and academic achievement assessment passed); passing score on the triOS entrance assessment; admission interview to determine suitability for a career in the legal field.
