This exciting degree is a new programme addressing the increasing interest in the influence of nutrition and diet on sport and exercise performance at both elite and amateur levels. In addition, it mirrors the recent developments in public health to reflect the importance placed on the dual role of nutrition and exercise strategies in managing a healthy lifestyle. The knowledge and skills gained on this course will produce graduates with excellent understanding of the influence of nutritional and dietary related factors on the performance and practical experience of working with athletes and population groups within professional and amateur sports clubs, private leisure industries and within public health.
