Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), our MSc Psychology conversion programme is designed for graduates in any area who wish to pursue a career in professional psychology. Whether you’ve studied psychology but didn’t gain accreditation with the British Psychological Society, or you’re looking to change career paths, completing this programme will qualify you for entry to further training, in areas such as forensic, occupational, clinical and sports psychology.


The programme follows the core BPS (British Psychological Society) curriculum, with a distinctive critical edge that promotes strong engagement with the subject matter. It’s taught by staff who are expert in their given areas, who are student focused, and who are committed to providing an excellent learning experience. Our psychology students report a high level of satisfaction and frequently stay with us to pursue our MSc programmes in Forensic and Occupational Psychology. With a strong team of Chartered Psychologists we are able to provide excellent advice and guidance on careers routes in psychology after completion.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree (three-year or four-year) at a recognised institution, with a minimum cumulative grade/ GPA (using 0-4 GPA scale) equivalent, corresponding to the published course entry requirements (please see the degree classification required on the course page for the degree programme to which you are applying). For Bachelor’s degrees completed in Canada:
    First degree class required: 3.6 GPA or higher (minimum 82%)
    2:1 degree class required: 2.9 – 3.59 GPA (minimum 70%)
    2:2 degree class required: 2.4 – 2.89 GPA (minimum 62%)
