Description:Drama is the study of theatre with an applied approach to learning. If you’re interested in joining the Department of Drama, chances are you’re envisioning a career in the performing arts. Our outstanding faculty and staff share your passion, and we provide a consistently creative and supportive environment to help students achieve career success. Our students learn how to act for theatre, film, radio and television. They learn how to write plays, manage stage sets and design costumes. Students explore the directing process, participate in audition training and develop rehearsal schedules. They also gain important, hands-on experience with lighting, sound production and stage management. Top it all off with study of the theory and evolution of theatrical production, and it’s no surprise that our alumni have gained widespread success in Canada, Hollywood and around the world.

  •  Grade12 Precalculus  or  Grade12 Mathematics 

In addition to the Required Courses for admission, some university courses have a high school pre-requisite. Students entering the Bachelor of Arts program, or who are undecided about which program they are interested in, are encouraged to take Foundations of Mathematics 30. Students interested in the Bachelor of Science program are encouraged to take Pre-Calculus 30. Students can be admitted into this college with a mathematics deficiency but are encouraged to consult the college upon admission to plan how to clear the deficiency.
