Description:

Marianopolis College admits students directly from high school to its enriched Honours Science Profiles. Students can choose a specific profile: Honours Health Science (200.HH) or Honours Pure and Applied Science (200.HP). Once in Honours Science, you will get to participate in activities such as math or science competitions, attend interesting lectures and visit cutting-edge labs. As an Honours Science student you will be encouraged to complete an Honours Science Project. You can participate in the local Science Fair, which, for many Marianopolis students, is a gateway to higher-level fairs and recognition. You will work under the supervision of a faculty member and the results will count as the official Épreuve synthèse required by the Quebec Ministry of Education.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have following prerequisites completed: Secondary V Chemistry (051504, 551504), Secondary V Physics (053504, 553504) and Secondary V Mathematics TS (064506, 564506) or Mathematics SN (065506, 565506). Students must have an overall average of 83%, a science program average (includes all Math and Science courses from Secondary IV and V) of 87%, and a minimum of 75% in Secondary IV and V Math TS or SN.
