Description:

Perhaps you've already had a taste of gardening and want to make a career out of it. This program concentration will prepare you for the landscaping industry. You’ll learn the skills necessary to understand the interconnectedness of human effort with the natural world, understanding the benefits that plants and landscaping provide in terms of the economy, environmental sustainability, and human lifestyles.

Graduates have opportunities to find employment in various sectors of the horticulture industry, including: landscape operations, golf courses, lawn care companies, park maintenance, and retail operations.
