Description:

Do you like fixing engines? Are you physically fit and able to lift heavy objects? These are good qualities to have for a career in heavy duty equipment repair. This program will provide you with the skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair faults in the mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical systems used in today’s heavy equipment. Since toxic chemicals and petroleum products are often involved, workplace safety will be another important aspect of your training.

Graduates may find employment in occupations related to the heavy equipment servicing and sales industry such as diesel and marine repair, service advisor/writer, heavy duty equipment repair, farm equipment repair, bus, truck, and transport repair.
