Computers impact almost every aspect of our lives – from the microprocessor in your cell phone to the networked point-of-sale system in your favorite shop. As a computer electronic technician, you will have a broad understanding of computer hardware, software, networks, and electronics so you can maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer electronics of all types and sizes. If you have an interest in Mathematics and Science and a fascination for how computers and electronics play a role in the twenty-first century, this could be the career path for you.

Graduates from this program have skills that are in high demand. Computer electronic technicians work in a large variety of organizations from small and mid-sized specialized electronics companies to large IT corporations and government agencies. Typically graduates begin their careers in the fields of electronics design and troubleshooting, user support, or systems analysis.
