| This course will provide you with the necessary skills to work effectively in a modern manufacturing engineering environment. As a professional manufacturing engineer you will need to be able to apply management techniques to ensure satisfactory and timely completion of projects, and plan for these appropriately. You may also be required to implement and manage the maintenance procedures that are required to make sure the machines running within the company are running reliably and productively. The specialist knowledge and skills required to do this effectively are provided across a number of modules. Employability in manufacturing is the key feature of this course and the development of transferable skills including teamwork, problem solving, IT skills, oral and written communication, analytical and critical thinking as well as the essential engineering skills form a fundamental part of the course. |
