Description:

Our popular BA(Hons) Photography will develop your creativity and give you the high-level practical skills needed to become a successful photographer. You will be able to work across all areas of the discipline, from editorial and documentary to fashion, advertising and fine art. You will be encouraged to transform your broad-based photographic practice into an individual visual style. On graduation, you will have built a unique and compelling body of work for the marketplace.

The city of Bristol is a vibrant arts and media community, which will challenge and inspire you. Photography is based at Bower Ashton Campus, part of the City Campus, where exceptional facilities and resources include state-of-the-art digital media studios, while production and fabrication workshops offer a combination of traditional tools and the latest technology. The course incorporates all the factors you need: a vibrant, collaborative environment, state-of-the-art facilities, supportive workshop instruction and expert input, all underpinned by theory and critique. At its core are creative projects in still and moving imagery, involving exciting opportunities in contemporary lens-based media. You will receive one-to-one support from our excellent technical and academic staff.
