Description:

Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team in hospitals and across the community, physiotherapists help to maintain and restore movement and function in people affected by injury, illness or disability. It's a varied, stimulating and rewarding career and the course will equip you with the contemporary knowledge, skills and abilities to promote physical, psychological and social wellbeing by delivering safe and effective care.

BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and leads to eligibility to apply for registration as a physiotherapist with the HCPC, a prerequisite for practice. As well as learning the theory of good physiotherapeutic practice and studying the subjects that underpin it, you'll develop a holistic approach, strong inter-professional and interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with patients, their families and other healthcare professionals to support rehabilitation and wellbeing. With fully integrated work-based training and outstanding onsite facilities, you'll be taught by an inspirational, supportive team with a depth of physiotherapy experience in many different areas.
