Description:This one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate Program provides students with knowledge of the organizational structures within the retirement community industry and various philosophies of care in preparation for careers as managers and administrators or pursue other opportunities. Retirement Community management involves a broad range of responsibilities in the day-to-day operations including human resources, recruitment, fiscal management, resident care, food service operations, marketing, recreation activities and environmental services. The program includes current federal, provincial and municipal laws and statutes central to the success of this expanding industry.
