| Studying History will give you the ability to look behind the headlines, question what you are told and express your own opinions effectively. Students are offered the opportunity to undertake collaborative projects with museums, art galleries or other external partners, equipping you with practical ‘real-world’ experience and a competitive edge in the modern graduate jobs market. In the first year, you will be introduced to a variety of historical periods and themes. In the second and third years, you will choose from a large number of optional units and you can spend your second year on an exchange abroad in Australia or the United States. In the third year, the most important element is the dissertation, often based on original source materials. |
