| In French and Spanish, emphasis is placed on communicating effectively and developing transferable skills such as translating, interpreting, and interview techniques and practical language classes embrace speaking, listening, reading and writing. We offer a wide choice of subjects, which may include society, cinema, culture and linguistics. The course is taken as a major/minor or equal honours route. You will be required to spend your third year abroad; this could be a study or work placement or a British Council assistantship. If you are studying French and Spanish equally you will spend a period of time in both countries. After this year, you return to MMU to study for your final year. |
