Description:

The LLB (Hons) degree in law will give you a solid foundation of legal knowledge, and access to the professional stage of legal training. Throughout the course, you'll develop your understanding of legal systems and learn about a variety of legal areas across the 11 modules, including human rights, contract law, land law and criminal law.

The LLB (Hons) degree is approved by the Academic Stage Board and graduates will leave with the essential expertise required to achieve a career in law. Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have one of the following: 3 ‘A’ Level passes (grades A* - C) equivalent to 240 UCAS points; NQF Level 3 qualification or BTEC National Diploma or Certificate (or international equivalent), or; Bachelor Extended Pathway (Year Zero). Direct entry on to the level two, academic year of the LLB (Hons) is possible but is dependent on compatibility of previous study. Each applicant is considered on his/her own merit.

    If your first language is not English, you will need to demonstrate the following levels of proficiency in English language: Cambridge IELTS (Academic Test): 6.0 or above (no less than 5.5. in any skill and no less than 6.0 in the Reading and Writing skills for all Law related programmes); Cambridge English (Advanced): Grade C or above (no less than 'weak' for any skill), or; Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): 55 or above (No less than 51 in any skill and no less than 56 in the Reading and Writing skills for all Law related programmes). If you do not hold an English language qualification, you can study the IELTS English course at our Greenford Campus.
