Description:

This fast-paced, stimulating degree will allow you to acquire the transferrable skills industry demands, together with the ability to work logically and quantitatively. On graduating you will be an ideal candidate for a range of roles in the financial sector. You will also have the prized chance to acquire seven exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, which means you will achieve your ACCA qualification sooner. The degree will provide you with the accounting skills businesses need, along with detailed knowledge of advanced financial reporting, financial management, business law, economics and much more. Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have one of the following: BTEC National Diploma or Certificate; Minimum of 2 A Level passes (grades A* to E); NQF Level 3 qualification (or international equivalent), or; Bachelor Extended Pathway (Year Zero).

    Mature students (those 21 and over) with evidence of full-time work experience supported by a reference from their employer may be considered on their individual merits.

    If your first language is not English, you will need to demonstrate the following levels of proficiency in English language: Cambridge IELTS (Academic Test): 6.0 or above (no less than 5.5. in any skill and no less than 6.0 in the Reading and Writing skills for all Law related programmes); Cambridge English (Advanced): Grade C or above (no less than 'weak' for any skill), or; Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): 55 or above (No less than 51 in any skill and no less than 56 in the Reading and Writing skills for all Law related programmes).
