    The M.Eng. (Thesis) degree is open to graduates holding the B.Eng. degree or its equivalent in Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering, or other related engineering fields. The Master of Engineering (Project) program (Mining option) is primarily designed for graduates from mining engineering programs who have received adequate academic training in modern mining technology, mineral economics, computer programming, and probabilities and statistics. Students without this academic training must follow a Qualifying term. Industrial experience is favourably viewed for entrance into the program, but is not considered a necessity.

    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 567] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 86]
    Application Notes : English or French language proficiency is required.Hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) or equivalent in a technical field. A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 for entire undergraduate program or for 3.2/4.0 for the last two, full-time years in your undergraduate program.
