| Digital Arts & New Media is an exciting new program that prepares students for a variety of university studies. A dynamic mix of theory and practice gives students a chance to explore and find their passion, while sharpening their creative abilities and developing a comprehensive understanding of the importance of visual culture. Our teachers are accomplished artists who have the expertise needed to foster the artistic expression in each student. The courses have been designed to develop communication skills using convergent media arts, photography, 3D modeling and animation. Through experimental creative projects, students will explore new media and develop critical thinking.
The graduates of Digital Arts and New Media are prepared for university studies and future careers in the Arts and Media. They can apply to such programs as Bachelor of Arts, Computational Arts, Convergent Media Arts, Animation (Film or Gaming), Industrial Design, Arts Education and Theatre Design. Digital Arts & New Media will equip students with the artistic, technical and academic competencies to meet the challenges of their future.
