Description:

The BSc Geography & Geo-Informatics degree at Swansea looks at the application of new technologies to geographical problems. This includes technology-based approaches such as satellite remote sensing, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and environmental modelling. The Geography & Geo-Informatics degree scheme will cover topics such as Global Vegetation Patterns and Dynamics, The Earth from Space: monitoring environmental change and Plate Tectonics and Global Geophysics.
