The BSc Applied Mathematics degree course will give students the opportunity to focus on Applied Mathematics in addition to the general range of mathematical material that you will cover. The Applied Mathematics course will give you the chance to explore and understand the number theory that Pythagoras studied, the Financial Mathematics that the highest flyers on Wall Street rely on, and a wealth of other topics reflecting the teaching team’s research expertise in probability, analysis, nonlinear partial differential equations, noncommutative geometry and algebraic topology.
