The Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) from Charles Sturt University (CSU) is designed to enhance the professional policing practice and knowledge of police officers and officers in law enforcement agencies with a policing focus. Designed for serving police officers who intend pursuing a career in investigation, enrolment in the program is restricted to those officers in policing, or other relevant organisations, who are designated as 'detective' or who are working towards that qualification in their organisation.

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages: Certificate in Advanced English [min. 52]
Application Notes : Applicants who have not undertaken and completed sufficient study in English will be required to take one of the above noted tests with accompanying scores.
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Applicants must have successfully completed the Diploma of Policing or the Diploma of Applied Policing or the Diploma of Policing Practice or the Associate Degree in Policing Practice or equivalent; and have completed or be undertaking the Advanced Diploma in Public Safety (Police Investigations) (AQF level 6) or its equivalent in another jurisdiction. Applicants without the qualifications listed must have at least three years plain clothes experience and have completed or be undertaking the Advanced Diploma in Public Safety (Police Investigations) (AQF level 6) or its equivalent in all other jurisdictions.
