Description:

All our degree courses are structured around a common core to ensure that all students have a good grounding in the fundamental aspects of physics, mathematics and experimental methods. You can then specialise by following themes such as theoretical physics, astrophysics, particle physics and cosmology, quantum optics and photonics, and solid state physics. All our degrees include a substantial final-year project undertaken in one of our research groups.
