| Information Technology (IT) Security is fundamental in today's business environment. The IT Security specialization offers comprehensive knowledge and skills in operating and managing IT security infrastructure. You will benefit from both theoretical and practical experience with the ability to practice skills learned in the classroom with cutting-edge equipment in our advanced laboratories. You will also have the opportunity to pursue an internship work placement (locally or abroad) or participate in the Capstone study project where you will work with a team to provide consulting services to an industry partner. |

| Additional Admission Requirements: | If you hold an Ontario College Diploma in Computer Programming, Computer Systems Technician, or related program, you must successfully complete the bridge courses with a minimum C grade in each course to proceed into the four-year BIT program. You will receive 15 courses toward your 40-course BIT degree.
If you hold an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology or Computer Programmer Analyst, you must successfully complete the bridge courses with a minimum C grade in each course to proceed into the four-year BIT program. You will receive 17 courses toward your 40-course BIT degree. |
