How to achieve the right balance between using the environment for our needs and protecting it at the same time represents a significant challenge for society. This degree covers the basic principles of the environmental sciences, but also covers environmental economics and law in order to gain an understanding of how and why humans interact with the environment. It uniquely equips graduates with the ability to apply scientific principles and management techniques to real-life environmental problems, such as pollution, energy provision and climate change. The degree will provide you with the knowledge and skills to work in a range of areas.
