Description:

Civil engineers are responsible for designing, constructing and operating a wide range of infrastructure projects, including major structures, highways and water resources. With sustainability high on the agenda it creates a challenge for more complex, yet innovative, cost-effective environmentally sensitive solutions. This course will ensure that you have the technical and management capability to contribute effectively in this environment and prepare you for your career as a civil engineering technician. The course is integrated with our BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering and comprises of the first two levels of study of the degree. On successful completion of this course, you can gain another qualification and progress onto the final year of the BSc degree.

    • General High School Diploma with five subjects required and a Grade of 70% or above.

    • Quebec Diplome d Etudes Collegiales with a Grade of 70% or above
    • OR
    • British Columbia with Five B grades

    • Ontario with 6 grades of 60% or above in U, U/C or M courses
