The Sequential Music program is a two-year program that may be completed after earning a four-year Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education through the College of Arts and Science. To be admitted to the Bachelor of Education - Sequential Music program, apply to the College of Education.
By enrolling in this program, you will gain a richer understanding of the foundations of education; continue to practice your skills in field experiences; and, become proficient in assessment, evaluation, and classroom management. |

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. To enter this program, you first need to complete the four-year Bachelor of Music in Music Education [B.Mus.(Mus.Ed.)]. For the Secondary option, you will also need a minimum average of 60% in your Teaching Area 2 classes.
Once you've completed the B.Mus.(Mus.Ed.) program, you can apply to the College of Education for the Bachelor of Education - Sequential Music degree. For more information, speak with an advisor in the College of Education. |
