Colour theory, design fundamentals and life drawing will be taught and students will apply this knowledge to the production and animation of characters, lighting, texturing, layout and design. Students will be able to apply industry standard software tools and techniques to production processes. All graduates will build an industry standard portfolio throughout their studies at CDI College. The 3D Modeling Animation & Design program prepares graduates for careers in a variety of CGI based industries. Graduates of the program will find employment in computer animation studios, game development companies, post production and special effects studios. They may also work for industrial design firms, software producers or any other company that requires the productions of 3D graphics and animation.
