Description:

We believe in collaborative action to promote the health of populations, community-based approaches with a social justice ethic to reduce preventable disease and premature death, and creating partnerships with people to influence change and improve the quality of life for all people. Studies include public health core courses and a choice of one of three areas of focus: indigenous peoples' health, public health nursing, and social policy. A 225-hour practicum provides an opportunity for you to practice and demonstrate public health knowledge and skills within professional practice setting. A culminating project completes your program.

    Applicants must have an undergraduate degree with a minimum standing of B+ in the last two years leading to the degree. Applicants will be required to have completed an undergraduate Statistics course with a minimum grade of B.
